Day 1

Leave country of origin and arrive in Zurich (Switzerland). Travel by train to the Engadin valley in South Eastern Switzerland. Settle in and unwind, then take a relaxing stroll on the “philosophers walk”. We will stay the night at the Mouttas Muragl Hotel (2456 meters), with a spectacular view over the higher Engadin valley, St. Moritz and the Bernina mountain range.

Day 2

After breakfast, our route takes us hiking on the “Capricorn Trail” to Piz Languard. Passing by the Paradise hut, we will enjoy a well deserved lunch on the summit of Piz Languard (3262 meters). After trekking down to the mountain village of Pontresina, by both foot and by chair lift, we pick up the mountain bikes that will be used during the next three days of our adventure. Riding by bike up to Bernina Pass, on the Italian speaking border of the Posciavo valley,  we arrive at our mountain lodge where we spend the night.

Day 3

We wake in the mountain lodge at Bernina Pass and after breakfast, we start our ride. Today's mountain bike tour will take us up through the Italian border to the remote village of Livignio, Italy. Here we can enjoy a coffee break in the sun and explore this awesome ski village,  and dream of returning when there’s snow covering the slopes. Now the bike tour takes us from Livignio  to  the steep Alpisella Pass. On top, there is a breath taking view of the glaciated Ortler mountain range. After taking some pictures from the pass, we continue biking along the magnificent Moro valley to Val Mustair.  In Val Mustair we can roam around on the bikes, and visit the monastery of St. Maria, a UNESCO  world cultural heritage. We spend the night in Val Mustair and enjoy a hearty Swiss dinner, and relax after an amazing day.

Day 4

After a good morning stretch, it's time to get moving again! For 100 years the yellow PostBus coaches have traveled through every corner of Switzerland.  We will travel via PostBus up to Ofen Pass, and by bike to Scuol thru Val Scarl valley. In the afternoon we arrive by bikes at the Linard hut where we will spend the night.

Day 5

Today we start the morning with a beautiful multiplepitchrock climb. Piz Linard, is a rewarding rock climb to the highest peak in of the Silvretta mountain range.  After lunch we bike to Lavin, where we load the bikes in the train, and kick back and enjoy the incredible views. Upon returning tothe mountain village of Pontresina, we settle in and spend the night at the Muottas Muragl Hotel.

Day 6

Today's trek takes us up the scenic Rosegg valley to the Coaz hut. This is a recovery day, and we arrive after a few hours of easy walking. Here we can relax for the afternoon at the Coaz hut, and then spend the night.

Day 7

After breakfast, we head out from the Coaz hut over the glaciated Sella pass to the Italian side of the Bernina mountain range. Now using the Via Ferrata, our route climbs up to the spectacular placed Marco et Rosa hut. Dispensing our heavy gear at the hut, we lighten our load for the climb! If the conditions allow, we will climb from the hut to Piz Bernina, the most eastern of the 4000m peaks in the Alps. After we descend the route, we spend the night in the Marco et Rosa hut.

Day 8

Bellavista  - Palu traverse  to the Diavolezza hut is one of the great traverses in the Swiss Alps. It is in glaciated terrian, with wonderful snow, rock, and ice climbing on exposed ridges. Arriving at the Diavolezza hut, we will take in the spectacular views of the mountain, and spend the night.  

Day 9

Today we ride the Glacier Express panoramic train to Andermatt, and from there to Fluelen, in Central Switzerland. To conclude our journey, we load onto a steamboat, on our way to Lucern. For our last night, we enjoy a beautiful celebration and farewell dinner as we cruise across the lake. We will spend our last night together in Lucern.

Day 10

After saying our goodbyes, we head from Lucern to Zurich international airport, and our flight home. What a fabulous adventure!
