On this trek we climb one of the 7 summits of the world, Mt. Elbrus, in the Caucasus mountain range outside of the small mountain village of Terskol. We also explore Moscow and visit the Kremlin and Red Square.

From Mt Elbrus

DAY 1:

Arrive in Moscow and Transfer to Hotel (walking distance to Red
Square, Kremlin and downtown Moscow).

DAY 2:

Moscow city tour: Kremlin, Red square, the Armory, Lennon’s tomb,
and downtown Moscow.

DAY 3:

Fly Moscow to Mineral Vody and drive to Terskol.

DAY 4:

Acclimatization hike to Chughet mountain.

DAY 5:

Tram to Barrels Hut. Afternoon hike or ski tour.

DAY 6:

Hike or ski tour to Pastuhova rocks night at Barrels Hut.

DAY 7:

Hike to Diesel Hut and work on glacier skills. Night at Diesel Hut.

DAY 8:

Mt Elbrus

Summit day!

DAY 9:

Alternate: Summit day! or return to Terskol.

DAY 10:

Terskol to Mineral Vody airport to return home or St. Petersburg
