Day 1:

Arrive Marrakesh Morocco. Welcome check in and welcome dinner

Marrakesh

Day 2:

Marrakesh walking tour; our city guide will explain the history, architecture, handicrafts, Marrakesh Museum, historical sites and culture of Morocco. Group Orientation and gear check. *mountain bikes issued for the trek. Prepare for morning departure into the mountains.

Mountain biking in the Atlas mountains

Day 3:

Transfer 1 hour outside of Marrakesh and start your bike tour into the High Atlas Mountains. Spend the night camping on the river.

Berber Village

Day 4:

Spend the day riding up the valley passing through small Berber villages along the way. Spend the night in a private guest house.

Day 5:

Continue your mountain bike journey riding up the valley over the mountain pass then descend into the village of Imili. Spend the night in a private lodge and explore the village.

Day 6:

Start your trek (5200’) up the Toubkal valley supported by mules and camp (10.350’) in the shadow of Jebel Toubkal (13,752’)

Day 7:

Start the morning early and enjoy the sunrise from Northern Africa’s highest point Jebel Toubkal (13,752’) in the Atlas Mountains. Return to the refuge for a snack and tea then continue down to low camp (8500’) in the valley.

Day 8:

After breakfast we will continue trekking down the valley into Imili village. Here we will shower and clean up then transfer 2 hours to the 18th century seaside village of Essaquira on the Atlantic coast.

Camel

Day 9:

After breakfast load up on your camel and take a stroll along the beach taking in the sites. Afterwards we will start our journey back to Marrakesh via our private bus stopping for lunch along the way. In Marrakesh we will enjoy a celebration farewell dinner.

Day 10:

Shopping, and enjoy a Hammam bath and spa, prepare for international departure. We will say our goodbyes and transfer to the international airport.
